Board of Pensions Providing a Benefits Webcast Highlighting the 2021 Benefits Plan.

Last month the Board of Pensions provided a Benefits Webcast highlighting the 2021 Benefits Plan. While we had over 350 participants, many of the churches that perhaps most need the information did not attend.

 

To better serve congregations in our region, Kevin Keaton, Church Consultant for the Board of Pensions, will offer four webinars on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, September 15 at 10:00 am CDT

  • Wednesday, September 16 at 7:00 pm CDT

  • Wednesday, September 23 at 2:00 pm CDT

  • Thursday, September 24 at 10:00 am CDT

 

In order to be a good steward of everyone’s time, the plan is to provide the content, as well as answer questions, within a one-hour time frame.

The primary audience for the webinar is those key decision-makers in a church, such as a member of Personnel, the Treasurer, Clerk of Session, Pastor, etc. 

Those interested in participating are asked to send a request to Kevin Keaton at kkeaton@pensions.org. You will be provided with a GoToMeeting link and advance materials.

Evergreen Life Services Group Homes Evacuate to Gilmont 

 

As Hurricane Laura tracked inland, Evergreen Life Services Group Homes needed a temporary home. They found it at Camp Gilmont, but this is an expense no one anticipated.
