National Association of Presbyterian Clergywomen presents:
NAPC's Way Out
Because of the COVID pandemic, the National Association of Presbyterian Clergywomen will not be able to hold their in-person Triennial gathering. In its place, NAPC is planning a series of Zoom conversations. These conversations are geared towards Clergywomen and female Commissioned Pastors. Each conversation will last 2 1/2 hours and will be guided by members of the National Steering Committee.
It is a goal of NAPC to provide safe space for our membership. Our discussions will allow us to talk about surviving and thriving during our adjustments to the new normal in our lives. Our time together will allow us to answer questions like “How have you been able to administer pastoral care?” and “What innovative ways have you had worship service?” We will also talk about ways to practice spiritual disciplines that help us to find God in new places.
This kind of forum may be made available in other formats and through other means. Our discussion is unique to our membership because it is specifically for clergywomen. It is a time for us to be us among us. There are no experts assigned to dispense knowledge, but through the power of the Holy Spirit we will be experts for each other by sharing how God has been alive and active in our current work.
We know and believe that there has been no testing that someone else has experienced and survived. We believe that God is faithful to give us the tools to thrive. May our time together prove to be the way out so that we can endure the challenges we currently face.
