Volunteer
Your participation in disaster preparedness and response ministries is crucial to the Synod Partnership for Disaster Recovery.
Individual volunteers and congregations are needed to:

Organize work teams to serve in long-term recovery and rebuilding sites

Coordinate donation drives and provide storage for supplies
-
Contribute updated information for communication plans and networks
-
Lead disaster preparedness planning for your congregation and communities
-
Provide leadership at the presbytery-level for regional coordination
-
Become a member of your local VOAD (Volunteer Organizations Active in Disasters)

Volunteer in Sites across the Synod of the Sun
You can serve directly in disaster impacted communities across the Synod of the Sun. Click the links below to connect directly with each of our volunteer host sites or work partners actively supporting long term recovery efforts in Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas:
Donate Supply Kits
Presbyterian Disaster Assistance welcomes donations of supplies through the ecumenical Gifts of the Hearts Kits Program. By assembling and donating these kits through PDA, essential supplies may be distributed quickly and efficiently to individuals and communities impacted by disasters.
Kits include:
