Financial Coaching for Pastors

Bill Wiles, Treasurer

Many pastors come to their ministry responsibilities without the base of knowledge necessary for them to deal with the financial aspects of church pastoring.  This is often because most seminary educations did not include courses on accounting systems, budgeting, reading financial statements, fundraising campaigns, and/or the internal controls necessary to keep church finances from being compromised.

Recognizing this ministry challenge, the Presbyterian Foundation underwrites a financial coach program to help equip pastors (Ordained and Commissioned) to successfully navigate these financial ministry responsibilities.

Pastors who are accepted into this program will receive twelve (12) one-hour individual coaching sessions spread over six to 12 months.  The topics to be covered in these coaching sessions will be tailored around the needs of each pastor.

THERE IS NO COST TO THE PASTOR FOR THESE COACHING SESSIONS.
